The “friends of Portaferry Presbyterian Church” (fPPC) is a local charity with the specific aim of bringing arts events of the very highest calibre to Portaferry and the Upper Ards. This is a terrific opportunity to increase the profile of your company both locally and throughout N Ireland as many of our patrons also come from outside the area.
On the 28th November 2008 Brenda Rattray, a world renowned Jazz-Gospel singer will give a concert of favourite Jazz numbers and her own works. The Northern Bank through its community grant scheme is the sole sponsor of this event.
On the 24th April 2009 we will be holding a joint concert series with St Peter's Cathedral Belfast. The choir (boys and lay clerkes) of Westminster Cathedral will sing from their repetoire of 16th-20th century music. Further details of sponsorship options are available here.
Professor Margie Miles, of Irvine University, California, the world authority on the Temple of Nemesis on which Portaferry Church is modelled, will be giving a lecture on the building and its lineage from the buildings of antiquity.
These events offer an excellent opportunity for local companies to advertise through association with the fPPC and the events it runs. The fPPC would offer sponsors the following options:
Platinum Sponsorship of the fPPC
- Sponsors will donate over £2000 to the fPPC for one year’s sponsorship
- They will have 6 seats reserved for any activities run by the friends throughout the year
- Their name and logo will be displayed during any performances
- Membership benefits for the year for two people for the friends of Portaferry Presbyterian Church
Gold Sponsorship of the fPPC
- Sponsors will donate over £1000 to the event
- They will have 2 seats reserved for any activities run by the friends throughout the year
- Their name and logo will displayed during any performances
- Membership benefits for a year for two people for the friends of Portaferry Presbyterian Church
